Dj HUFFY
After a decade of touring as a member of dark dance punks Death Valley High, Huff just wants to have fun. Genres blur as he keeps it grooving, funky, and eclectic. He’d rather read a crowd than stick to a script, but it's always funky and upbeat. Joyful. Unexpected. Well mixed.
Currently, Huffy holds two regular DJ residencies, every First Thursday at Monarch, and every Fourth Thursday at Phonobar. He is a regular fixture at The Valencia Room Sunday and Monday nights as well! Previously, Huffy has held down SF residencies at Blackthorn, The Elbo Room, The Attic, and Beauty Bar.
He has performed at San Francisco venues such as The Fillmore, Public Works, The Great American Music Hall, Slim’s, The Great Northern, The Foundry, Monarch, 1015 Folsom, The Independent, and countless other wonderful rooms. He has toured most of the US, large swaths of Europe, and had a friggin blast while doing it!
The goal is always funky fun.
